A recent article by Rob Carey on Meetngsnet.com brought up the rise in podcasting for associations for a cool delivery method.

“Online educational sessions that used Facebook Live rather than a webinar application saw considerably higher attendance among younger learners, and this strong demand is attracting sponsors. One other success story from the audience involved the use of podcasts, which can leverage free software such as Podbean and involve building a subscriber base in order to push notifications to learners. This combination of tactics would boost non-dues revenue at low cost.”

We agree free website, and hosting. Podbean is a great option for new podcasters.

But be careful on how many shows you actually publish fits the size of your shows.  Lots of other options on Blubrry or Libsyn to consider.  We have been using Libsyn for around 12 years and been very happy.

Basically it is like a cell phone.  Do you plan on sending tons of texts watching Netflix all the time?  Then you need to pay more.
